This Christians on Campus website is a resource page for many student organizations affiliated based on the common Christian faith. Registered with various universities around the nation, some of these organizations have been serving college campuses and their surrounding communities for almost 40 years. Their members love God in His eternal purpose and develop an aspiration in their college years to know Christ in His word, to experience Christ in their daily lives, and to share Christ in all their relationships.
These believe that a purposeful and satisfying Christian life depends on solid relationships with Christ and with other believers. Perhaps at no other stage in life is “pursuing with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22)” so crucial, not only for their faith to survive the trials of college life, but to lay the foundation of pursuit of Christ for the rest of their life.
The various organizations affiliated with this website emphasize developing a personal and affectionate relationship with Jesus Christ and meeting with fellow Christians to strengthen, encourage, and build up one another in faith. There are many venues to do this, whether it’s through Bible studies, small groups, connecting in the community, or just sitting down for a cup of coffee.
The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone! Just as we can’t live without Christ, the Head, so we can’t make it without His Body.
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor; for if they fall, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls and does not have another to lift him up!
